The ACR needs clinical reviewers, especially those with cardiac CT experience, for the CT Accreditation Program.

To meet the criteria as a reviewer for the CT accreditation program you must:

  • Be board-certified
  • Be an active ACR member
  • Have special expertise in interpreting CT exams
  • Participate in an ACR CT reviewer training session
  • Be able to actively participate in electronic review

Reviewer responsibilities include reviewing and scoring CT exams submitted by facilities seeking accreditation. The reviewers can select the number of sites they wish to review. In addition, reviewers can set their active and inactive times in the accreditation online database. Reviewers may also be called on to participate in on-site surveys of accredited facilities, not more than once every two years. Successful candidates will be compensated for participation as a reviewer.

The success of ACR's programs and projects is directly linked to the tremendous efforts of its members who step forward to serve their colleagues and their patients.

We appreciate your continued support and look for your favorable response to our urgent request for reviewers.

If you or one of your colleagues is interested in becoming a CT reviewer, please send the most recent copy of your CV to:
