The FDA has approved a new fee schedule for the ACR’s Mammography Accreditation program. The new fee schedule will become effective with the launch of the ACR’s new online accreditation system.
The changes highlight some important and time saving improvements for facilities regarding the accreditation of a mammography unit that performs both Full-Field Digital Mammography and Digital Breast Tomosynthesis. The change in process will result in a decrease in the total cost of accreditation fees.
