Federal Funds Disbursement

State-by-State Breakdown: Delivery of Initial $30 Billion of CARES Act
HHS has announced delivery of the initial $30 billion in relief funding to providers in support of the national response to COVID-19 as part of the distribution of the $100 billion provider relief fund provided for in the CARES Act recently passed by Congress and signed by President Trump.

CMS Expands Scope of Practice for Physician Assistants, APRNs
Per President Donald Trump’s request, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released new waivers  of federal requirements to allow medical practitioners, such as physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), to order tests that may have previously required a physician’s order.
