American College of Radiology Again Certified as a Great Place to Work

ACR earns recognition for the second consecutive year based on staff responses to annual survey.

Reston, VA (March 11, 2020) – The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) was named a great workplace for the second consecutive year by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®. The ACR earned this honor based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys.

"This recognition is a testament to our staff, who every day make the ACR a great place to work by embodying and demonstrating our operating principles of being thoughtful, caring, good listeners, curious and above all else, one team,” said William T. Thorwarth Jr., MD, FACR, CEO, American College of Radiology. “Congratulations on creating such an excellent community here at the ACR. Together, we will continue to serve our members, patients and society to help advance the field of radiology.”

In particular, the ACR staff’s work flexibility, sense of pride, welcoming atmosphere, contributions to the community and support of employees were cited as some of the top reasons for the honor.
