Welcome to The Hounsfield Unit podcast. I’m your host, Cody Quirk.
In this podcast, we discuss what matters most to our YPS and RFS members.
Are you more experienced than our YPS section? Great! You should listen in, too. Academic? Private? Corporate? Everyone from medical school to PGY-35 and academic to teleradiologists can listen in and learn more about current events in radiology. We cover broad topics, from board certification to private equity buying hospitals and private practice groups. We will feature interesting conversations with the experts that can help us understand the challenges and opportunities that face radiology today.
It is our goal to keep you up to date in a format that allows for listening during your morning or evening commute. We hope to keep you engaged in what is happening in radiology, as well as present different views from the people involved. We will highlight the work our members are doing to push our specialty forward through the challenges we face.
A podcast allows for unique and more nuanced discussions in a format that any radiologist can access. It is my goal to foster unique discussions with varied perspectives to create a dialogue about the directions our specialty is heading — for all radiologists. We must all be engaged and enlightened on these topics in order to protect and improve radiology and medicine.
