Last week, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) indefinitely delayed the Radiation Oncology (RO) Model. In a final rule, CMS decided to delay the current start date of the RO Model to a date to be determined through future rulemaking. The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) has previously commented on the April 6, 2022 RO Model proposed rule. The RO Model website will continue to maintain information about the RO Model. The ACR will continue to monitor any updates to the RO Model implementation date.
