The American College of Radiology Association® (ACRA®) has opened the application period for the State Scope of Practice (SOP) Fund, which was established to safeguard patients and patient access to radiologist expertise by fighting non-physician SOP expansion legislation. The ACRA is committed to working with state radiological societies to proactively educate lawmakers and counter future scope threats.
Chapters seeking funds must submit a written request, outlining the project and detailing how the request meets all the criteria established in this program. Chapters should use the SOP Fund Application form to prepare their submission.
State radiological societies are encouraged to review the SOP Fund guidelines before applying. The application deadline is Oct. 31.
