ACR Seeks Public Comment on NEW Evidence-based Recommendations for AAA Quality Measures

The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) is seeking public comment for the new Evidence-based recommendations for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) quality measures. The quality measures aim to improve adherence to evidence-based radiologic-recommended follow-up imaging of AAA.

We invite you to view the measure development project details and submit your comments via the public comment period portal. The 30-day public comment period will end April 26.

Comments received during the public comment period will assist the ACR technical expert panel (TEP) work overseen by the ACR Commission on Quality and Safety’s Metrics Committee. The panel will incorporate input from the public comments when refining the measures’ ability to improve adherence to evidence-based follow-up recommendations for AAA imaging findings.

Please support this initiative by participating in the comment period and encouraging other radiologists, facility administrators and patients to share their experiences and preferences.

If you have questions about the AAA measure comment period, please contact Samantha Shugarman, ACR Director of Quality Programs.
