The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) circulated an American Medical Association/Specialty Society Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) survey related to Ultrasound Guidance for Vascular Access.
The survey was shared with a random selection of ACR members and launched in coordination with the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS). If you receive the survey, we encourage you to complete it as quickly as possible. If you receive this survey from more than one specialty society (e.g., ACR, SVS or SIR), please complete only one.
Responses from all three societies will be combined and analyzed to make time and value recommendations at the September RUC meeting. The RUC will share the recommended values with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for consideration and publication in the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.
