The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) recently circulated an American Medical Association/Relative Value Scale Update Committee (AMA/RUC) survey for needle biopsy of lymph nodes to randomly selected ACR members. This is a multispecialty effort in conjunction with the Society of Interventional Radiology. If a member receives a survey from both specialties for the same procedure, please only complete one. Survey data will be collected, analyzed and presented at the October 2020 AMA/RUC meeting. Values approved by the AMA/RUC Panel will be conveyed to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for appraisal and final valuation in the 2022 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.
As this is a shorter survey cycle, please submit your completed survey as soon as possible and no later than July 31st. Maximum engagement from the ACR membership is crucial in order to provide accurate physician work and time recommendations to CMS. Your active participation in these efforts is appreciated.
