The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), an institute within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that was advanced by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®), has established the Center for Biomedical Engineering Technology Acceleration (BETA Center). The center will serve as a biotechnology resource and catalyst for NIH research discoveries; it is intended to accelerate the development, validation and use of cutting-edge technologies.
The College advocates for NIH funding, including NIBIB appropriations, which are used to advance new initiatives such as the BETA Center.
