Quality & Safety

The ACR takes a vigorous approach to improving imaging quality and safety through positive legislative change, continuous improvement of ACR accreditation programs, and regular updates to ACR Appropriateness Criteria® and the ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards.

GR, Economics & Health Policy

As a guardian of the profession, the ACR articulated the interests of radiology before Congress and other federal and state legislative and regulatory bodies on issues such as accreditation, radiation safety, and reimbursements.

Education

ACR is your one-stop shop for learning new modalities, updating your skills, and earning continuing medical education (CME) credits. 

Clinical Research

In fiscal year 2010, the ACR Clinical Research Center received more than $7 million in new grant awards through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Center’s top fiscal year 2010 accomplishments provided essential clinical evidence for improved clinical care and reimbursement.
