"Fall in the Napa Valley" Pastel
After the last grapes are fully grown, fall is the time for color and beauty in the Valley. In November, when I took a photo for this painting, the Valley was covered in red and yellow foliage.

“Dugga Boy" Acrylic on Canvas
An old Cape buffalo, past his prime and ostracized from the herd. The writer and African big-game hunter Robert Ruark once said, "He looked at me as if I owed him money."1 But I believe he’s thinking, "How the heck can they forget the contributions I once made to our clan?"
