The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has issued updates to a number of CPT/HCPCS codes included in the 2015 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. The short descriptor for code G0279 was corrected to “Tomosynthesis, Mammo”, the type of service modifier indicator for code 77063 was changed to 1, indicating Medical Care, and code S8032, mistakenly listed as S0832 in the final rule due to a transposition error, was corrected in this update.
