Get Your Residents Involved in Advocacy Through Resident Advocacy 101 Program

The 2024 state legislative cycle is quickly approaching, and there will be multiple issues debated at state capitols that will have a direct impact on the practice of radiology.

One great way to get members involved from the start is through the American College of Radiology® (ACR®) Resident Advocacy 101 program. This hour-long webinar led by ACR government relations staff and state radiological society leaders teaches radiology residents how to become involved in advocating for their patients and their profession. You can read more about the program in ACR’s Bulletin.

The need for physician-led and radiology-led advocacy has never been greater, and ACR is here to assist you in all your advocacy endeavors. The College has partnered with Fiscal Note, a legislation and regulation tracking service, to provide continuous, comprehensive updates on radiology and healthcare-related legislation. To stay current on state legislative developments relevant to radiology, view the ACR policy map. You can also access information and ACR resources about scope of practice.
