The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) provided input to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy about assorted health technology-related regulatory programs. The College’s feedback is in response to the government’s request for information regarding the health technology ecosystem.

ACR recommended revision and implementation of CMS’ imaging appropriate use criteria consultation requirements, modernization of image exchange, improvement to information blocking rules, and the advancement of safe and effective digital health innovations intended for qualified end-users.

If you have questions about ACR’s comment letter, contact Michael Peters, ACR Senior Director, Government Affairs.
