From May 3–7, more than 1,200 attendees from across the country participated in the 2025 ACR® Annual Meeting. The conference prioritized ACR governance activities, including:

During the meeting, ACR Council sessions considered new and revised ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards (PP&TS) and ACR policy resolutions. The Council final actions detailed report includes PP&TS and policies/bylaws.

ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards

At ACR 2025, 123 resolutions were presented and considered by ACR Council, adopting 119 and referring three back to the Council Steering Committee or Board of Chancellors for further consideration. All 39 PP&TS presented in 2025 were approved, including three new documents:

  • ACR-AAPM Technical Standard for Medical Physics Performance Monitoring of Surface Guided Radiation Therapy
  • ACR-ACNM-ARS-SNMMI Practice Parameter for the Performance of Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen Therapy
  • ACR Practice Parameter for Contrast-Enhanced Mammography
