Oklahoma State Radiological Society
About Us
The Oklahoma State Radiological Society (OSRS) was created in 1973 and since then has established and maintained the highest level of medical and ethical standards for providing input from every radiologist in our state. Through this means, we have the ability to influence policies and standards for all of radiology.
The strength of the influence which the ACR and the OSRS has with Congress and other government agencies, i.e., the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, National Institutes of Health, FDA, etc., is directly related to the number of radiologists it represents.
Mission
The mission of the Oklahoma State Radiological Society is to advance the science of radiology and improve radiologic services to the patients and communities of Oklahoma, to study the socioeconomic impact of the practice of radiology and improve continuing education for radiologists and technologists alike.
