Nebraska Radiological Society
About Us
The Nebraska Radiological Society (NRS) is a proud chapter of the American College of Radiology® (ACR®). Membership in the NRS requires concurrent membership in the ACR, an organization that has dedicated over 75 years to enhancing the safety, effectiveness and accessibility of imaging services.
NRS offers a variety of educational opportunities for its members. Annual membership meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of January, February, March and April at Happy Hollow Country Club in Omaha. At the end of each calendar year, members receive "Save the Date" notifications, a letter from the president and an informational packet. Formal invitations and registration forms for the monthly educational meetings are sent out in advance to ensure all members can participate.
Mission
The mission of the NRS is to serve patients and society by maximizing the value of radiology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and medical physicists. We are committed to advancing the science of radiology, improving the quality of patient care, positively influencing the socioeconomics of radiology practice and providing valuable education for our members.
