Build essential skills in advocacy to help shape the future of radiology. Brief lessons in advocacy, part of the ACR Advocacy Curriculum, are now available. Developed by member volunteers, these mini lessons provide guidance on effective caucusing, how to speak to a legislator, how to give an elevator pitch and the anatomy of a resolution. Additional lessons in five key areas, including leadership, communication, personal branding, media/social media and legislative/policy are in development. Learn more
RADVOCATE Leader Certificate
The RADVOCATE Leader Certificate is intended for ACR members interested in strengthening their understanding and expertise in critical components of advocacy. To complete the program, ACR members must earn 20 credits within two years of registration, which can be earned by completing programs and/or criteria from all aspects of Government Relations: State, RADPAC®, RAN, Regulatory and Economics. Upon completion of the program, members will receive recognition at the ACR Annual Meeting.
