Watch the New Lessons in the Advocacy Curriculum

This article was updated Sept. 18 to inform members that new topics are now available for the Advocacy Curriculum.

Launched earlier this year, the ACR® Advocacy Curriculum empowers radiologists with practical, bite-sized lessons, and new topics are now available.

  • What Is Advocacy and Why Does It Matter? by Priscilla Slanetz, MD, MPH, FACR, and Kirang Patel, MD
  • How to Grow Chapter Membership by Elizabeth Maltin, MD, FACR
  • Building a Career in Radiology Leadership by Richard Duszak Jr, MD, FACR

These new lessons join the growing curriculum as ACR members continue to produce high-impact microlessons, all designed by and for radiologists.

Looking ahead, lessons including How to Lead an ACR Chapter, Building a Grassroots Coalition, Qualities of an Effective Leader and Creating an Ideal Work Environment are coming soon.

Passionate about advancing the specialty through advocacy? Explore the curriculum and consider volunteering to contribute or promote future lessons.
