The Data Science Institute (DSI) Pediatric AI Working Group, led by chair Dr. Marla Sammer, has been actively addressing the challenges and opportunities of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) in pediatric medical imaging. Recognizing the importance of ensuring the safety of children as AI technology continues to advance, the work group has been advocating for expanded development of pediatric AI resources.

To further advance this goal, the work group has created a dedicated Pediatric AI webpage and campaign to promote the development and dissemination of clinically useful pediatric AI resources, named “Image IntelliGently”.

On the Image IntelliGently site, resources for understanding the unique impacts AI has on pediatric patients along with resources to improve AI in pediatric populations can all be found in one central place.
