Nominations will be accepted from ACR members, residents, and fellows. Self-nominations will not be accepted. Each nominator may only nominate one person per award cycle.
A minimum of one (1) nomination letter must be submitted with the application, giving in detail the nominee’s qualifications for the award. A second letter of recommendation supporting the nomination is strongly encouraged. Letters must follow these requirements:
- Must be written by an active ACR member. At least one of the letters (nomination or recommendation) must be from an individual who is not a member of the nominee’s current department, practice, or workplace.
- Must be no more than two pages and signed and written on letterhead.
- Must outline and summarize how the nominee’s work with the ACR has exhibited the four award criteria.
- Current members of the award selection committee, ACR Board of Chancellors, the ACR Chief Executive Officer, and staff of the College cannot submit nominations nor write letters of recommendation for the award.
Nominators must also include a current CV or resume with the application. The CV/resume must provide adequate information about the candidate’s positions, accomplishments, and their educational contributions to the ACR.
