Call for Abstract Reviewers
The American College of Radiology invites you to serve on the Abstract Review Committee. This is a one-year term in which you will be a part of ensuring abstract content is of high quality for ACR’s 2027 Annual Meeting. The deadline to sign up is January 19, 2027.
Abstract Reviewers must be an ACR member and have completed training & residency (MITs are not eligible).
Each abstract will have at least three reviews, each taking about five to ten minutes. The total number of abstracts you will review depends on the number of abstracts submitted. An online peer-review database streamlines the process using a rating system, there is no substantial free text required. The online review site is tentatively scheduled to be open for approximately three weeks from January 27 to February 17, 2027.
We received almost 200 abstract submissions for the 2026 meeting and are anticipating having around the same number or more submissions for ACR 2027.
There are five categories for submissions:
- Advocacy, Economics, and Health Policy
- Informatics and Data Science
- Leadership and Practice Management
- Quality and Safety
- Training and Education
Reviewers play a critical role in ACR’s Annual Meeting, we appreciate your time and consideration to recognize the outstanding work of radiologists and trainees.
The deadline to sign up is January 19, 2027.
Questions can be directed to Jennifer Sheehan (ACR Meeting Manager) and Dr. Hamza Alizai (ACR 2026 Abstract Chair).
