White House Moves to Challenge State AI Laws
White House orders review of state AI laws, pushes for a national framework; agencies may withhold funds over conflicting rules.
Read moreThe American College of Radiology® (ACR®) was selected as a member of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Investor Catalyst Hub. ACR reported previously in Advocacy in Action that it also serves as a member of the ARPA-H Customer Experience Hub. Both of these hubs are included in the ARPA-H nationwide health innovation network, ARPANET-H, which aims to link the American health ecosystem to create transformative changes in healthcare.
The Investor Catalyst Hub fosters collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs and investors to commercialize technologies and provide support in healthcare innovation. Serving as a member in both hubs offers ACR the opportunity to provide input on ARPA-H challenge areas and priorities.
The important role ACR plays in radiology and the College’s expertise in research were the main reasons it was selected as a member of the two hubs.
