The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) anticipates a busy 2024 state legislative cycle, including the introduction of legislation with direct impacts on the practice of medicine, specifically on the practice of radiology.

The College is prepared to assist state radiological chapters throughout legislative sessions, providing bill analysis and monitoring, letter writing, advocacy strategies and more. The Scope of Practice microsite is also a great resource for members looking to proactively educate lawmakers on the importance of physician-led care.

ACR partners with Fiscal Note, a legislation and regulation tracking service, to provide continuous, comprehensive updates on radiology and healthcare-related legislation. To stay current on state legislative developments relevant to radiology, view the ACR policy map or receive state-specific reports from Fiscal Note.

For more information about state legislative activities or to receive state-specific reports from Fiscal Note, contact Eugenia Brandt, ACR Senior Government Affairs Director, or Dillon Harp, ACR Senior Government Relations Specialist.
