Beginning Your ACR Journey at the ACR Annual Meeting

The ACR® 2024 Annual Meeting, which takes place April 13 through April 17, is rapidly approaching. If you are a resident, fellow or medical student interested in radiology, we strongly encourage you to attend.
Members of the ACR Resident and Fellow Section (RFS) Executive Committee have been hard at work organizing programming for residents, fellows and students on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 (with additional events throughout the conference). We are confident that the events, panels and speakers will be of great interest to trainees at all levels.
ACR RFS programming is always grounded in the practical realities of radiology practice, covering issues that we all need to be familiar with as we progress through our careers. Topics for the annual meeting include career pathways, work-life balance, moral injury and wellness, reimbursement, negotiation and much more.
Additionally, we will discuss at length the many ways trainees can pursue leadership opportunities within the ACR at the local, state and national levels. Elections for the RFS Executive Committee and related leadership roles within the RFS will occur during the conference and results will be announced at noon on April 14.
In addition to the educational value of these sessions, attending the ACR Annual Meeting, and the RFS programming in particular, offers invaluable opportunities to network, socialize and form lifelong friendships with trainees and attendings from across the country.
