ACR® in collaboration with various multi-specialties and the AMA is conducting a five-survey campaign ahead of the January AMA/Specialty Society Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) meeting. Survey responses for each code family will be aggregated for comprehensive analysis. The data will be used to make time and value recommendations to CMS, with final values to be published in the 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

Surveys are randomly distributed to ACR members. If you receive more than one survey, ensure that it is completed in a timely manner due to the short cycle period and the holidays. Complete only one survey per code family, even if you receive the survey from multiple specialty societies.

Procedures under review include:

  • CT upper extremity
  • Fine needle aspiration
  • MRA head and neck
  • Prostate biopsy service
  • Treatment of incompetent veins
