ACR® member and Radvocate Devang Gor, MD, MBA, hosted a radiology-focused event for Congressman Ryan Mackenzie (PA-7), member of the U.S. House Committee on Education and Workforce. Rep. Mackenzie demonstrates a strong interest in tackling workforce issues that physicians face throughout the country, and more specifically in Pennsylvania.
RADPAC, the political action committee of the American College of Radiology Association, facilitated the practice visit. Congressman Mackenzie toured Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley, P.C., where Dr. Gor is the Chair of the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
Inviting lawmakers to tour your radiology practice is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with the individuals who establish the laws that govern radiologists and their ability to provide quality patient care. If you have questions or would like more information about hosting your lawmakers, contact Ted Burnes, ACR Senior Director of Political Affairs and RADPAC.
