In response to CMS’ request for information on future Software as a Service (SaaS) policy, ACR calls for a clear payment pathway for AI technologies. The College also recommends increased reimbursement for services such as radiation oncology treatment delivery, CT colonography screening and medical 3D printing.
CMS will consider stakeholder input before finalizing the rule in November. Changes would take effect Jan. 1, 2026.
