May 8, 2025

The Pennsylvania Radiological Society walked away as ChAIpter Challenge winner during ACR 2025, the American College of Radiology® (ACR®) annual meeting in Washington, DC. In the competition, members considered the clinical accuracy of radiology reports drafted by generative AI models.

College members competed on behalf of their state radiological society chapter for a chance to win a trophy — and bragging rights — for the highest (weighted) participation. Pennsylvania took the prize with 790 cases evaluated.

In addition to the chapter challenge, five members — Drs. Jared Martilloti of Connecticut, Kenneth Kurtz and Linda Kloss of Pennsylvania, Abigail Reutzel from Iowa and Alex Towbin of Ohio — were recognized for individually reviewing the most cases.

Congratulations to all who participated.
