The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) state government relations department has an exciting advocacy training program that is designed to help empower the next generation of radiologists.

The ACR Resident Advocacy 101 program is an hour-long webinar that will teach radiology residents how to become involved in advocating for their patients and their profession. Launched last year in Texas, the already trained more than 160 residents at nine radiology residency programs.

The College has many resources to help members become involved in advocacy, including the Radvocacy website and scope of practice micro-website.

For more information about advocacy and the Radiology Action Network, contact Melody Ballesteros, ACR Assistant Director, Government Relations.
