The White House published an Executive Order regarding “Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)” Nov. 1. The order contains sweeping directives for federal agencies related to AI, including various healthcare AI regulatory initiatives of particular interest to the radiology community. The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) will continue to advocate for radiology interests during implementation by federal agencies.

For questions about AI-related federal regulatory policy, contact Michael Peters, ACR Senior Government Affairs Director.
