Last week, the American College of Radiology Association® (ACRA®) Radiology Advocacy Network sent out a call to action (CTA) to all American College of Radiology® (ACR®) members regarding H.R. 2474, the Strengthening Medicare for Patients and Providers Act. The CTA encourages advocates to contact their members of Congress asking them to cosponsor H.R. 2474. This bipartisan legislation would institute an annual inflation-based update to Medicare physician payments to help stabilize and provide much-needed reform to the current flawed system.

The CTA has rendered almost 1,400 emails to Congress from ACR members.

If you did not receive the CTA please register to opt-in to future advocacy alerts. If you would like to participate in this CTA or would like to share the alert with others, please do so by accessing the CTA at Support H.R. 2474.

If you have any questions about H.R. 2474, contact Rebecca Spangler, ACR Senior Government Affairs Director. If you have any questions regarding the CTA or how to get involved with advocacy, contact Melody Ballesteros, ACR Assistant Director of Government Affairs.
