NRC Changes to Medical Use Regulations
NRC seeks comments on licensing reforms, training standards and regulation of emerging medical technologies.
Read moreACR® published impact tables showing how the 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) proposed rule would affect reimbursement for radiology-related services. The tables compare proposed 2027 payment rates with 2026 rates for individual CPT® codes and include analyses of both 70,000-series and non-70,000 CPT codes billed by radiologists, interventional radiologists and radiation oncologists.
Beginning Jan. 1, Medicare will use two separate conversion factors under MACRA: a proposed $33.1693 for qualifying Alternative Payment Model (APM) participants and $32.8409 for non-APM participants. The current impact tables use the proposed non-APM conversion factor.
ACR staff will update the tables when CMS releases the final 2027 MPFS rule later this year utilizing the finalized conversion factor.
Questions about the MPFS rule impacts should be directed to Katie Keysor, ACR Senior Director of Economic Policy.
