ACR Notice on Iodinated Contrast Media Access
Contrast supply is mostly stable, but high demand causes variability; ACR urges ordering only what’s needed.
Read moreACR® updated its Wasteful and Inappropriate Service Reduction (WISeR) Model checklist April 14, to help members navigate this pilot program launched by CMS Jan. 1. WISeR is a six-year voluntary model in six states (Arizona, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington) that targets select services in Medicare Part A and Part B that are vulnerable to fraud, waste and abuse.
The College encourages members to monitor CMS and ACR resources regularly as program requirements often change.
ACR launched a feedback survey to gather information from members about experiences using WISeR. This input will help the College better understand how the program works in practice, identify challenges, and support ongoing policy discussions and improvement efforts.
For more information about the WISeR Model or if you have questions, contact Alicia Blakey, ACR Manager of Economic Policy.
