The symposium focused on the pace of change and innovation in breast imaging, with expert-led sessions about the new BI-RADS® updates for mammography, ultrasound, MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography. and audit guidance. Scientific sessions also highlighted practice-changing research, breast cancer risk assessment, and other emerging issues shaping the field.

ACR leaders and staff had opportunity to speak directly with breast imagers from across the country, as well as with many international members. There was strong interest in the College’s new BI-RADS publication released in December, with attendees sharing feedback, asking questions about the updates, and seeking ACR resources they can take to their practices. ACR also had opportunity to discuss advocacy priorities, listen to members’ concerns, and strengthen relationships with physicians and other stakeholders at the forefront of breast imaging.
