CMS posted the Hospital PTP Edits v322r0 and the Practitioner PTP Edits v322r0 on June 1, 2026. This update incorporates all prior edits and revisions dating back to January 1, 1996. The NCCI was developed by CMS to promote correct coding methodologies and reduce improper Medicare payments. Practices should review the edits and assess any impact on coding, billing, reimbursement, and compliance processes.
ACR® urges radiology practices to review the NCCI edits relevant to the profession and make any necessary updates to their systems.
