Favorable Decision for ACR Members in “TMA III” NSA Case
Fifth Circuit ruling on No Surprises Act QPA calculations supports fair physician reimbursement and stronger insurer accountability.
Read moreThe Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced Quality Payment Program (QPP) exception applications are available now through Dec. 31, at 8pm ET. Exception applications allow healthcare practices and individual clinicians participating in QPP programs such as the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) to request exemption from some or all performance categories.
MIPS exemption and category reweighting is available to practices facing “extreme and uncontrollable circumstances” that create hardships in collecting and submitting data required for MIPS participation.
To submit an exception application, log in to the QPP website and choose “Exception Application” from the navigation panel on the left.
If you have questions about 2025 MIPS participation or exception applications, contact Zach Smith, American College of Radiology® Senior Quality Programs Specialist.
