The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) responded June 14 to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance white paper, Bolstering Chronic Care through Physician Payment: Current Challenges and Policy Options in Medicare Part B. The white paper included a series of questions on a variety of topics, including but not limited to the need for an inflationary update to the Medicare physician fee schedule conversion factor, value-based care and potential new payment models.

ACR is encouraged the committee is pursuing payment reform and looks forward to further discussions about stabilizing the Medicare physician payment system to ensure beneficiaries continue to have access to high quality care.
