Read moreThe American College of Radiology® (ACR®) impact tables that illustrate how the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) final rule affects specific radiology-related tests and procedures are updated.
The tables cover specific changes in reimbursement rates between 2023 and 2024 for each Current Procedural Terminology® (CPT®) code. The analysis includes spreadsheets for the 70,000 series CPT codes and the non-70,000 CPT codes billed by radiologists, interventional radiologists and/or radiation oncologists.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized the 2024 conversion factor at $32.74 PFS, a $1.14 decrease from the 2023 conversion factor. If Congress acts to provide an increase to the conversion factor later this month, the impact tables will be updated using the new conversion factor.
Questions about the MPFS final rule impacts should be directed to Katie Keysor, ACR Senior Director of Economic Policy.
