The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) has created a detailed summary of the 2022 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) final rule released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Nov. 2. The summary outlines issues within the rule that impact radiology.
CMS describes changes to payment provisions in this rule that will take effect Jan. 1. In addition, Policies related to the Quality Payment Program — the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System and Advanced Alternative Payment Models also are discussed.
