The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) released its June 2023 Report to Congress on June 15, outlining its recommendations to the secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regarding the alignment of fee-for-service payments across ambulatory settings as well as providing the mandated report on the use of telehealth during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) developed a summary of the radiology-relevant topics included in the report.
The Commission also reported on standardizing Medicare Advantage (MA) benefits and MA payment policies. MedPAC is a non-partisan, independent legislative branch commission created to advise Congress about Medicare-related issues.
