The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) submitted comments to the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) about improving care delivery and integrating specialty care in population‐based models. PTAC is an independent federal advisory committee that makes recommendations to the U.S. Health and Human Services secretary.
In the comments, ACR highlights ongoing concerns regarding radiologists’ ability to engage fully in the Medicare Quality Payment Program, including radiologists’ struggle to participate in alternative payment models and the Merit-based Incentive Payment System.
