Clinical Accreditation Reviewers Needed for Nuclear Medicine and PET

The ACR needs clinical reviewers for Nuclear Medicine/PET Accreditation Programs. A reviewer training session is scheduled for October 26, 2019, in Reston, VA.

To meet the criteria as a reviewer for the Nuclear Medicine/PET Accreditation Programs you must:

  • Be board-certified (ABR or ABNM)
  • Be an active ACR member
  • Have special expertise in interpreting nuclear medicine and PET exams
  • Have at least five years of experience following residency in diagnostic radiology
  • Participate in an ACR nuclear medicine/PET reviewer training session

Reviewer responsibilities include reviewing and scoring nuclear medicine/PET exams submitted by facilities seeking accreditation. The reviewers can select the number of sites they wish to review. In addition, reviewers can set their active and inactive times in the accreditation online database. Successful candidates will be compensated for participation as a reviewer.
