An upcoming issue of the JACR will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities in rolling out AI in private practice. Case studies could explore the following topics:

  • Negotiating with vendors
  • Managing the in-practice roll out
  • Training radiologists to use new tools and embrace process improvement
  • Evaluating AI performance and success in matching development data sets
  • Handling anticipated and unanticipated issues
  • Exploring AI implementation but deciding against it
