The ACR urgently needs clinical reviewers for the Ultrasound Accreditation Program. We have A reviewer training session has been scheduled in conjunction with the RSNA 2017 meeting in Chicago.

To meet the criteria as a reviewer for the ultrasound accreditation program you must:

1 - Be board-certified
2 - Be an active ACR member
3 - Have special expertise in interpreting ultrasound exams
4 - Participate in an ACR ultrasound reviewer training session
 
Reviewer responsibilities include reviewing and scoring ultrasound exams submitted by facilities seeking accreditation. The reviewers can select the number of sites they wish to review. In addition, reviewers can set their active and inactive times in the accreditation online database. Reviewers may also be called on to participate in on-site surveys of accredited facilities, not more than once every two years. Successful candidates will be compensated for participation as a reviewer.

The success of ACR's programs and projects is directly linked to the tremendous efforts of its members who step forward to serve their colleagues and their patients.
