Bruce J. Hillman Fellowship in Scholarly Publishing
ACR seeks applicants for the Bruce J. Hillman Fellowship in Scholarly Publishing. The fellowship provides a concentrated, two-week experience in medical editing, journalism and publishing for an interested and qualified staff radiologist. The goal is to encourage talented junior and mid-career radiologists to pursue an aspect of medical journalism as a part of their careers.
The selected fellow will spend two weeks in Reston, VA, gaining hands-on experience editing and publishing the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR) with the JACR Editor-in-Chief, Bruce J. Hillman, MD, FACR; Deputy Editor Ruth Carlos, MD;l and JACR staff.
The fellow will also travel to New York City to spend time with the JACR’s publisher, Elsevier.
The fellowship requires some reading prior to the travel and completion of a work project.Apply by August 31. Selection of the fellow will be announced no later than October 31.
