American College of Radiology (ACR) Certified as a Great Place to Work®

Independent analysts awarded the distinction based on a survey of a majority of staff

Reston, VA (March 20, 2019) – Today, the American College of Radiology (ACR) was named a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®. The ACR earned this honor based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys.

"This recognition is a testament to our staff, who every day make the ACR a great place to work by embodying and demonstrating our core values including leadership, integrity, quality and innovation,” said William T. Thorwarth Jr., MD, FACR, CEO, American College of Radiology. “Each and every one of our people are the reason we have such an incredible community here at the ACR, serving our members, patients and society. We look forward to continuing to work together to improve even further and remain a great place to work for many years to come.”

In particular, the ACR staff’s contributions to the community, sense of pride, welcoming atmosphere, work flexibility, generous benefits and honest and ethical business practices were cited as some of the top reasons for the honor.
