Capitol Hill Day Generates Support for ACR-Backed Legislation

More than 500 radiologists met with their members of Congress May 22 to discuss ACR-backed legislation – including surprise medical billing and those listed below

Gala Celebrates RADPAC’s 20th Anniversary Ahead of Successful Hill Day

More than 300 RADPAC contributors attended the RADPAC Gala held at the historic Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday, May 21. Among the evening’s highlights was a performance of the National Cathedral choir and the presentation of the ACR Congressional Award for Radiological Excellence (CARE Award) to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) for her leadership in the fight to ensure mammography screening for women ages 40-49. 




Radiology Advocacy Network Selects Best Hill Day Photos

With over 500 radiologists meeting with 275 congressional offices during ACR Hill Day 2019, Capitol Hill’s halls were filled with our #radvocates. To make this day even more interesting, the Radiology Advocacy Network (RAN)  hosted a Twitter contest for best #ACRHillDay2019 picture. Congratulations to the winnners.

Second-runner-up goes to: Natasha Monga, MD , Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) and the Ohio State Radiological Society for state pride. First-runner-up goes to: Zara Wadood, MD  and Brown Radiology Residency for the #swag
