More than 300 RADPAC contributors attended the RADPAC Gala held at the historic Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday, May 21. Among the evening’s highlights was a performance of the National Cathedral choir and the presentation of the ACR Congressional Award for Radiological Excellence (CARE Award) to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) for her leadership in the fight to ensure mammography screening for women ages 40-49.
With over 500 radiologists meeting with 275 congressional offices during ACR Hill Day 2019, Capitol Hill’s halls were filled with our #radvocates. To make this day even more interesting, the Radiology Advocacy Network (RAN) hosted a Twitter contest for best #ACRHillDay2019 picture. Congratulations to the winnners.
